BMW Motorrad

Marketing & Advertising, Social Media

BMW Motorrad is BMW’s motorcycle brand, a part of its Corporate and Brand Development division. It has been producing motorcycles since 1923, achieving year after year of record-breaking sales.

When providing graphic services to the BMW dealership network in Poland, we also had the opportunity to work for BMW Motorrad and support the brand’s marketing activities. The main scope of our work included graphic support of advertising campaigns through designing a series of bannersfor both social media and traditional websites.

The use of a motorcycle is determined by the season and the weather to a much greater degree than for a car, therefore a great attention is paid to all autumn and spring campaigns in preparation for the beginning or end of the sales season. Themed weeks such as Urban Driving promoted electromobility, while Adventure Week was a joint field trip under BMW Motorrad patronage. Each of these campaigns was properly communicated to regular and new potential customers.

Direct sales support through POS materials form an excellent opportunity to inform the customer about product’s advantages.

Electromobility is a continuously growing segment. Often considered the way of the future, it originated with the electric scooters. BMW Motorrad has a range of such models. We designed POS materials – stickers and special wheel extensions mounted on show scooters displayed in showrooms and at trade shows. They informed customers that any driver with a driver’s license could also drive such a scooter, without the need for additional permitting  such as obtaining a motorcycle license.

Thematic or seasonal sales always need well-designed graphic materials.

We prepared a series of banners and newsletters campaigns for promotion by email and on Facebook. The campaigns mostly concerned stock sales, but also touched on Christmas gifts such as specialized motorcycle clothing, gadgets, or special motorcycle care products, properly tailored and sold as ready-made product sets for a specific recipient. In addition to banners, printed cards were also created that could be given as gifts.
