“Startups in the Palace” is a project that aims to support innovative Polish companies in their search for development opportunities, including possible investors, business partners and new markets.

The project includes public presentations of the most interesting business initiatives before potential investors, heads of state-owned companies, representatives of grant institutions and venture capital organizations, so-called business angels and foreign ambassadors.

Thanks to the cooperation between the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland and the Startup Poland Foundation, we had the opportunity to create a graphic identity for the event. We consider this as an honor. Any graphic design for an institution of this stature is an enormous challenge and responsibility.

The first and main element was to create a logo design. Since all events take place in the presidential palace, we considered its distinctive facade as the most appropriate symbol, complemented by the name written in a classic serif font Calluna.

The color palette consists of three colors – red, white and black.

Although the startup industry is a space for innovative and cutting-edge solutions authored by young people, we had felt that such a color combination would duly emphasize the support the mayor’s office provides to these initiatives.

We have also designed a set of printed materials for the first edition of the meeting – an introductory letter, calling cards and an information brochure. These materials were distributed to participants and guests during the meeting.

We have received very positive feedback on our project. For subsequent editions, modifications of the logo were made to accommodate different themes or different startup groups that participated.
