Noclaf was established in late 1980s as a small, family-owned company producing bathroom cabinets.

After 3 decades of steady growth under the leadership of its founder and owner, Zbigniew Staniewski, Noclaf has become a modern, well-organized manufacturer of bathroom furniture providing highest quality productsin the “hi-end” category, enjoying an established position and worldwide recognition.

The biggest strengths of Noclaf’s products are unrivaled quality, best materials and a highly specialized production system. The implemented Batch Size 1 operating model makes it possible to produce personalized products on an industrial scale.

The owner’s vision, unified and well-thought-out development strategy, work ethic and maintaining the highest standards – these are the factors thanks to which Noclaf furniture can be found in many parts of the world. Its position as one of the leading furniture manufacturers in Poland has been further solidified by numerous awards it received.

Our cooperation with the company began fairly accidentally. We were invited to audit company’s visual condition, but at the time we did not consider developing its new identity, as we were occupied by other projects.

Our next meeting took place after a long time, as the company struggled to find a suitable contractor for its new identity, failing to develop any meaningful concept with other agencies. After months of frustration, lack of adequate understanding of the owner’s vision by other creative entities, we were invited to collaborate on a new logo and identity. With the opportunity and an open schedule at the time, we took up the challenge.

Symbol

The simple and dignified symbol of a slanted line was our first and, as it later turned out, the best idea.

We began the design sketches with a vision of the logo, which was to remain a logotype but with a distinguishing symbol. The distinctive shape, referring to the letter n, also symbolizes the mechanics of production, that is processing of raw material through cutting and grinding. Easily recognizable and memorable, it has become the foundation of the entire identification system.

Blue and white were chosen as the main colors, complemented by black. Water, cleanliness and the sense of freshness. Blue refers to both nautical and Scandinavian design, suggesting a return to nature and memories of seaside vacations.

DIN Pro font was chosen as the company’s typeface – a one-element, modern font that perfectly matches the logo.

The scope of the identity we prepared included design of corporate stationery, i.e. business cards, letterhead and envelopes. Later on, we have designed company’s car signage, in a simple and ascetic way, only using company’s logo and the line symbol.

Beautiful visualizations of decorated bathrooms furnished with Noclaf producys are what spurred the  customers to buy them.

They formed the foundations for further marketing materials, such as a brochure and catalog. A company website combining functionality of an image site with a tool for placing orders and customizing furniture.

A complete range of furniture products, complemented by sinks, shower trays, toilets and bidets – everything that makes up a modern, contemporary bathroom. Thanks to Noclaf solutions, the whole process can be completed in a single ecosystem.

When ordering classic custom furniture or modifying a predefined product, one usually has to pay extra for it. But Noclaf operates differently – here every change is possible, and material savings of reducing the dimensions of the furniture make it cheaper in the end.

After proposing all desired changes, the website provides a cost estimate, allowign us to place a preliminary order. Noclaf does not retail ready-made furniture, so each product is unique in its own way.
